Mr. Oege Murk Dykstra, 72, former Hull Baker died Suddenly Thursday afternoon at the wheel of his car as he stopped in front of his house after visiting friends. Mr. Dykstra has been visiting in the John Vander Wilt home that afternoon apparently in good health. He drove back to Hull and suffered a heart attack just as he stopped his car. He fell over and died within a few minutes. Funeral services were held Tuesday December 7th from Christian Reformed church in Hull. Interment was at Rock Valley cemetery.

Mr. Dykstra who came to America from Woosam, Friesland in 1884 had been a baker in Hull from 1919 until 1941 when he retired.

He is survived by his wife the former Tryntje “ Katie” Hortinga whom he married in 1898 at LeMars, Iowa. Six children were born to them. Morris, who died at the age of 13 Mrs. Jennie Nettinga ,(Harmina) Mrs. Dick Baas of Pease, MN.(Alice) Mrs. Ralph Vande Burg t of Barstow California. (Janet) Mrs. John De Wild of Hull, Dick who died in infancy
