Albert Van Hill
Albert Van Hill, 72, of Orange City, died of a sudden illness Thursday, October 30, at the Orange City hospital. Services were at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 3, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Ralph Pontier officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Van Hill was born February 13, 1914, in Hills, Minnesota. He married Hattie Mulder on September 10, 1940, in Carnes. The couple lived most of their married life in Orange City. She died February 19,1973. Van Hill was a laborer until retiring 10 years ago. He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include a son, John of Alton; four daughters, Alice Lund and Ann Van Hill of Orange City, Esther Bouwman of Rock Valley and Milly Lukken of Alton; one brother, Richard of Wyoming, Michigan; two sisters., Winnie Hoogland of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Wilmyna Van Hill of Orange City; 12 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
