Mrs. Grace Dykstra, 68 of Hull died Sunday, Jan 12, at the Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. at the hope Christian Reformed Church of Hull. The Rev. Aldon Kuiper will officiate. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery in Hull. Visitation was Tuesday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home in Hull and from 5.p.m to 9 p.m. at the church with the family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Grace was born June 9, 1928 at Rock Valley, the daughter of Paul and Emma (Cannegieter) Lems. She was raised in Rock Valley and moved to Hull in 1945. On Nov. 11, 1947, she married Dick Dykstra. Dick and Grace owned and operated the Hull Pharmacy from 1951 to the present, both working there with their son Richard. She was a member of the Hope Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include her husband; five sons and their wives Dr. Ed and Linda, Paul, Dennis and Lorna, all of Iowa City, Richard and Nancy of Hull and Robert and Jackie of North Liberty; two daughters, Emily of Sioux City, and Laura and her Husband, Steve Heitritter, of Boyden; 13 grandchildren; six brothers John Lems, Clarence Lems and his wife, Alice, all of Canton,SD., Bert Lems and his wife Marge, George Lems, Gerald Lems and his wife, Cheryl, all of Beloit and Paul Lems and his wife Jan, of Saugus, Calif; five sister and their husband , Marguerite and Henry Moen of Inwood, Donna and Dean Whitcomb of Sioux Falls,SD ., Emma and William, De Jong of Sheldon, Hilda and Berwyn Krommendyk of Omaha, Neb., and Ruth and Chuck Oldenkamp of Alexander, Minn.
