Mrs. (Aaltje) Alice Van Engen a widow of eighty two years old died oan Saturday afternoon. For a year or two she had suffered from what was supposed to be cancer of the stomach. Only the last two days of her life hosever the desease took on an active forem.
She leaves three children JOhn Henry living at Doon and Frederick and Mrs. Sliekers who reside here. She was a worthy though unostentatious woman. Her funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from the Christian Reformed Church.

Harm was born 28 Feb 1820 Emlichheim Germany died 1891 Orange City)
