Trina Dykstra, 89, Hull, Died Saturday, Oct 25, at Sioux Center Community Hospital Nursing Facility.

Services were Tuesday Oct. 28, at Oolman Funeral Home in Hull, with the Rev. Carl Klompien officiating. Burial was at Hope Cemetery in Hull.
Trina Dykstra. Daughter of Ralph and Alice (Koppendrayer) De Vries, was born April 30, 1914, in Hospers. Her family later moved to Hull, where she graduated from the Christian school.

She married Edward W. Dykstra on Sept. 22, 1937. They made their home in Hull, where she was a homemaker.

Mr. Dykstra died April 8, 1981, in Sioux Center. She recently became a resident of Franklin Manor in Sioux Center.

She was a longtime member of First Christian Reformed Church in Hull. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting, and going out to eat.

Survivors include two sons, Roger and Arlene Dykstra of Sioux Center and Arian and Vicki Dykstra of Sioux Center;four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, the Rev. Gerrit and Jean Vander Plaats of Orange City; and a sister-in-law, Anna Dykstra of Hull.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Dykstra; two infant grandchildren; Carol and Wayne Dykstra; a brother, Jacob De Vries; and a sister, Frieda Vander Plaats.
