Ida Van Der Zwaag
Ida Van Der Zwaag, 91, of Hull died Sunday, December 19, at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Reformed Church In Hull with the Rev. Steven Bierly officiating. Burial was at Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Mrs. Van Dcr Zwaag was born March 12, 1908, at Sioux Center, the daughter of Jacob and Anna (Van Der Vliet) Jans. She was raised at Boyden. She married Clarence Van Der Zwaag at Boyden on January 28, 1931. The couple farmed at Hull. He died October 28, 1980, in Sheldon.

She moved into Hull in 1981. She was a member of the American Reformed Church in Hull, where she participated in the women's activities. She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzle books, listening to music and singing.

Survivors include her two sons and their wives, Gerrit and Marylin Van Der Zwaag and Jake and Sandra Van Der Zwaag, all of Hull; her daughter and her husband, Clara Ann and Bernard Schiebout of Orange City; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one greatgreat- grandson; three sisters, Grace Hibma of Maurice, Angeline Tiedemann of Slbley and Harriet Vander Zwaag of Sioux Center; and a brother, Jake Jans of Clarkfield, Minnesota. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Verna Jean Van Der Zwaag; four slsters, Henrietta Jans, Tlllie Wolters, Jacoba Kleene and Carrie Mulder; and two brothers, Henry and Marion Jans.
