Olaf E.Ostlund Dies At Maurice
Olaf E. Ostlund passed away at the age of 82 years at the home of his daughter Mrs. C.L. Heusinkveld of Maurice, Iowa with whom he had
made his home since the death of his wife in1929. Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church on Thursday, Oct. 11 th, Rev. J. Roggen Officiating Burial took place at Fairview cemeteryat Willmar, Minn, on Friday, Oct. .12th.

Mr. Ostlund was born at Ransetter Helsingland, Sweden, May 22nd 1863.

At (he age of 21'years he came to America and settled in Kandiyohi County, Minn. In 1887 he was united in marriage of Alfrida Bergstrom. He worked for the Great Northern Rail way Co. at Willmar and Raymond, Minn, and in 1921 was transferred to Maurice Mr. Ostlund served the Great Northern for 32 years and was pensioned in 1930.

He is survived by nine children Ellen, Mrs. W. Schilling, Minneapolis; Florence Mrs. Wm. Zira, Duluth; Melvin, Willmar; Roy, Minneapolis; Mrs.
Goldie Buikema, Willmar; Hazel, Mrs. A. Kamhotz, Chicago; Herbert, Detroit; Harold, Long Prairie, Minn, and Frances Mrs. C.L. Heusinkveld, Maurice.

His son Edward of Everett, Wash preceded him in death in March 1945. He also leaves two brothers in Sweden and one brother in Minneapolis, 35
grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
