Rites Saturday for Mrs. Gerrit Meendering, 82, Funeral services were held at the First
Reformed Church in Sioux Center at 1:30 P.M. Friday, December 31, for Mrs. Gerrit H. Meendering, 82, of Sioux Center, who died at the Sioux Center hospital Thursday.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Jack Boerigter and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.

The former Grace Roskam was born in The Netherlands October 2, 1889. She was married to Gerrit H. Meendering April 2, 1913, at Springfield, S. D. He died December 21, 1946.

Survivors include two sons, Harold of Grand Rapids, Mich., Albert of Sioux Center; two daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Cynthia) Niewenhuis of Garwin and Mrs. Glenn (Florence) Den Herder of Sioux Center; a sister, Mrs. Tillie Noble of California; a brother, Wletse, of The Netherlands; 27 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
