Funeral services were held at the Free Grace Reformed church at Middleburg at 1:30 p. m. July 17, for Mrs. Richard Ruesink, 78, of Hull, who died July 14 at the Sheldon hospital.
Services were conducted by the Rev. John Ekema and burial was made in the Middleburg cemetery under the direction of the Co-operative Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

The former Nellie Smith was born February 8, 1891, in The Netherlands. She came to the U. S.and to Orange City in 1911. She was married to Richard Ruesink February 28, 1913, at Orange City, and farmed near Middleburg. Mr. Ruesink died October 3,1954 at Middleburg, and Mrs. Ruesink moved to Hull in 1963.

Survivors include a son, Dick, of Hull; three brothers, John Smit of Hull, Dick and Leonard Smit, both of Doon; and four sisters, Mrs. Nick Heide of Raymond, Minn., Mrs.. Coba Bauwman of Rock Rapids, Mrs. Antonette Van Tilburg of Rock Valley and Mrs. Cornelia Dykhuizen of Fair Oaks, Ind.
