Funeral services were held at
Artesia, Calif., the past weekend for A.(Adrianus) Gotz, 84, former Sioux Center resident for many years, who passed,away Wednesday, November 12, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Muilenburg, at Artesia.

Mr. Gotz was in business in Sioux Center for approximately 43 years, and at one time was the owner of what is now Johns' Meat Market.

Survivors Include four daughters, Mrs. Margie Holwerda and Margaret Gotz of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Frieda Van Citters and Mrs. Allan Muilenburg of Artesia, Cal.; and three sons, William of Minneapolis, Minn., Fred of Council Bluffs, la., and Jim of Artesia, Calif.

(His wife was Klazina Smeenk.)
