Small Girl Dies After Drinking Poison Marie De Weerd, I year and 7 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert De Weerd, died Saturday, after accidentally drinking some rat poison which had been placed on the porch.

The doctor was called immediately but efforts to save her life were futile. Funeral services were held at the First Ref. Church in Orange City on Monday and burial was at Orange City.

Besides her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert De Werd. survivors include a brother, Marvin John, age 7 and 2 sisters, Theresa Jean, 6, and Darlene Jane almost 3 years old.

The mother Mrs, Al De Weerd, is the former Coba De Groot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A, De Groot living near Maurice
