HENRY T. DE WEERD
After an illness of nine weeks with heart trouble and complications, Henry T. De Weerd passed away Sunday night at 11:40 p.m. at his home hi Orange City.

Mr. De Weerd was born in Holland, Michigan May 6, 1874, and came to Sioux County at the age of 8. He was married to Miss Hattie Vander Kooi on February 26, 1902, and lived at Sioux Center for 30. years. They then moved to Orange City, living here for .12 years. His wife preceded -him in death four months ago.

Surviving are five children, Alice (Mrs. Sy Hulstein) of Sioux Center, Tony of Orange City, Fred of Sioux Center, and the Misses Christina and Sue at home. There are seven grandchildren. Surviving also is a sister, Mrs. H. Dieters of Sioux
Center.

Funeral services were held Wednesday in the First Christian' Reformed Church with the Rev. R. Bronkema officiating. Interment was made' in the Sioux Center cemetery.
