MRS. CORNIE DEN HARTOG
ORANGE CITY - Mrs. Cornie Den Hartog, 84, of Orange City died Monday in Heritage House Nursing Home in Orange City.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Thomas C. Vanden Heuvel officiated.
Burial was in West Lawn Cemtery. Mrs. Den Hartog, the former Magdalene DeZeeuw, was born July 16, 1902 at Middleburg. On May 27, 1921 she married Cornelius "Cornie" Den Hartog at Orange City. The couple made their home in Orange City. In 1982 she became a resident of Heritage House.
Mrs. Den Hartog was a member of First Christian Reformed Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son Paul of Orange City; two daughters, Mrs. John (Cynthia) Brantsen of Sioux Center and Mrs. Wayne (Joyce) Kooy of Galien, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. John (Johanna) Groen of Orange City; a brother, Rufus De Zeeuw of Holland, Minn.; 8 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.
