She is survived by two daughters, Mrs, Floyd F. Edmintser of Sioux Falls and Mrs, Harry Dawson of Hawarden. Mrs. Herter spent all but one year of her married life in Hawarden and was one of the real pioneers. She was
a member of the Congregational church and of the Ladies Aid of that church. During the early days of the church, she was an ardent worker in the various organizations and a faithful attendant. After the death of her husband, she continued to live in her home until she was stricken with illness and unable to care for herself.
