DANIEL ALONS
Funeral services for Daniel Alons 91. were held at the First Chr. Ref. church of O. C. Saturday,
Sept. 10. Rev. A. Dusseljee officated. Mr. Alons was born In the Netherlands In 1863 and came to the U. S. when he was 25 years old settling in Sioux county. He married Mary Fedders In 1894 and farmed until 1935 when they retired to
O. C. Mrs. Alons died in 1943. A daughter died at the age of 9 years. Surviving are children::
Mrs. Gerben Tamminga of Sheldon; Lou Alons of O. C. Ben Alons of Sanborn; Mrs. Edgar Schmidt of Sheldon; Reka of O. C.: and Gerrit of Boyden.
There are 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; and 1 sister in the Netherlands. Burial was at Hospers Cemetary.
