Little Jeanette Van Rooyen, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. H. (Hubert) Van Rooyen died Wednesday morning about ten of nerve paralysis. The little girl was six years old and has been in delicate health for a couple of years. The funeral was held Friday at one thirty in the afternoon from the Reformed church. Revs. Van Duin of Newkirk and Te Selle officiting. Interment took place at Newkirk. The fmaily has the sympathy of the entire community.
(She was born 5 Jan 18997 died 29 Jan 1903 buried Newkirk cemetery. Her father was Hubert Van Rooyen and her mother was Mary Leenhouts who was first married to Gerrit Hyink. She was the mother of two Hyink children, Walter and Francis.)
