Donald Lehrman
Donald Lehrman, 52, of Maurice, IA, died on Sunday, June 14, 1992, at his residence in Maurice. Services were scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 1992, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Ireton, IA, the Reverend H.H. Schauland officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Reading Township Cemetery, under the direction of the Porter-Dow Funeral Home in
Ireton.
Mr. Lehrman was born July 7, 1939, in Orange City, IA, the son of Lawrence and Cora (Riepma)
Lehrman. He lived on a farm southeast of Maurice. Mr. Lehrman , was a gas truck driver for 20 years, a school bus driver in Maurice, and, for the last 10 years, he was a grave digger in the Maurice area. Mr. Lehrman was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Ireton Gun Club, Pheasants Forever of Spencer, SD, and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert and Marvin, both of Maurice; two sisters, Mary Lou
(Mrs. Lavelle) De Vries of Cushing, IA, and Madonna (Mrs. Richard) Harrington of Salix, IA;
four nephews; and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.
