Johanna 'Ann" Leistra, 84, died Friday, April 1, at her home in Rock
Valley. Johanna Cannegieter was born March 24, 1899, in Hornick, la. She married John Leistra March 17, 1922, in Rock Valley. They farmed in rural Rock Valley until retiring in 1963 and moved into town. Her husband died April 5,1965. Survivors include one daughter,
Mrs. Dick (Joan) Wiberg, Des Moines, Iowa; two grandchildren
two brothers, John Cannegieter, Rock Rapids, George Cannegieter,
Rock Valley; one sister, Mrs. Emma Lems, Canton, S.D.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, at First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley.
Burial was in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation was at 7:30 p.m. .Sunday, April 3, at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley
