Sioux County Herald Oct 22, 1902
Died, at 7:30 o'clock on Friday morning, at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. Sinnema, on South Main street, Mrs. Jantje Hollinga, at the age of 75 years. Deceased was a widow and had made her home with her sister for the past thirteen years. Her death was unexpected by bar relatives,
though she had not been feeling well for two or three days, they had no idea that her life was in danger until a few hours before she passed away.
She was a Christian lady—a member of the First Reformed church, from which edifice the funeral was held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the regular pastor, Rev. E.
W. Stapelkamp. The remains were followed to their last resting place by a large gathering of sorrowin friends.
(A search for more of an identity for Jantje was made with no results. There is a possibility her husband was Andries. There evidently were no survivors to report.)
