Mrs. Charles Wilkison, 91, of Hawarden, died Dec. 13 at a Hawarden hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in the Associated Church with the Rev. Harold Zieglaff officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. A prayer service was at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilkison, the former Margaret J. Jacobe, was born Aug. 22, 1885, at Hawarden. She was married to John Theodore Schiefen in 1908. Mr. Schiefen died Sept. 9, 1920.

She was married to Mr. Wilkison in August of 1931. He died March 7, 1937. She was a telephone operator prior to her marriage and was secretary of the Eagle Township Schools for many years. She was a member of the Associated Church.

Survivors include five sons, Paul and Joe Schiefen, both of Hawarden, Philip Schiefen of Hudson, S.D., Vincent Schiefen of Sioux City and Frank Schiefen of Jefferson, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Pederson and Mrs. Dorothy Sonichsen, both of Yankton, S.D.; one brother, Ben Jacobe of Hawarden; three step-daughters, Mrs. Alice Sager, Lincoln, Nebr., Mrs. Velma Ford of Howell, Mich., and Mrs. Delsie Schiefen of Jefferson, S.D.; a step-son, Ralph Wilkison of Port Orchard, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
