Services Held For Mrs.(Tena) Simon Van Otterloo,56

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 17, for Mrs. Simon Van Otterloo, 56, at 1:30 p.m. in the Porter Funeral Home followed by church services at the First Christian Reformed Church with the Rev, Leonard Van Drunen officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home,

Mrs. Van Otterloo died Friday in the Sioux Center Hospital after a long illness. She was born Jan. 11, 1911 at Kanawha, Iowa. The former Tena Rietema, she was married to Mr. Van Otterloo April 12, 1947 at Bock Valley.

Music was provided by Mrs. Leonard Van Drunen, Mrs, Pete Dorhoul, Mrs. Fred Van Ktey, Mrs., Art Attema and Mrs. John Vander' Hue with Mrs. Jake Costra at the organ.

Pallbearers were John D. Driesen, Otto Bajema, William Van Kekerix, Rodney Bolkema, Clarence Boer and Clarence De Roon.

Survivors include the widower; one son, Sherwin; one daughter, Twila both of Rock Valley; the mother, Mrs. Fred Rietema of Kanawha; three brothers, John and Arthur of Kanawha and Clarence of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Christians and Mrs. James De Vries of Kanawha, and Mrs. Henry Pommer of Wesley, Iowa.
