Last Friday evening at ten o’clock occurred the death of Edward Vosburg at the advanced age of seventy four years. The deceased had complicated stomach troubles for two weeks prior to his death and being of an advanced age he never rallied. He was born on December 31 1828 in Middleburg, Schohoarie County New York. In the year 1856 he came west and worked as contractor and builder at Clinton Iowa until about 1861 when he began farming. He came to Sioux county in 1887 and resided on the farm west of town ever since. Three children survive him. Noble. Paul and Valeria Mrs. Geo. Small of Clinton. The burial took place in Clinton Monday.
