Marion Balkema Passes On

Sudden death claimed Marion Balkema of Hampton, Iowa, who died Tuesday, Nov. 21 of a heart attack. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Hampton where he was buried. The departed was reared at Newkirk. Surviving are his widow and three children. Also surviving are his father, Mr. Jas. Balkema of O.C., 2 brothers: Charles Balkema of Beaverton, Ore., and Peter of O.C. and one sister Tena--Mrs. Ebben Wibben, who lives at Yankton, S.D.
