REV. C. MUYSKENS

Funeral services for Rev. Cornelius P. Muyskens, 48, who died Saturday after a brief sickness, will be held Tuesday afternoon at the American Reformed Church in Orange City. He had been pastor of that church since April of 1956.

Burial will be in his family’s plot in Nassau township cemetery near Alton, Iowa.

Rev. Mr. Muyskens was active in numerous civic and community projects and was a member of the executive board of Northwestern College in Orange City.

He had served five other churches during his ministry and also was associated for a time with Central College at Pella, Iowa.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, Dirk, a student at Iowa State College, Don, attending Northwestern College, and Jean, a senior in the Orange City high school; two daughters, Joan and Dowe, both in Orange City schools; a sister, Mrs. Gerold Vanengen, who with her husband is a missionary in Chiapas, Mexico; and three brothers, Rev. Bernard Muyskens of Chandler, Minnesota, Rev. J. D. Muyskens, a missionary in South India, and Gerrit of Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
