Miss Jeanette Bedard of Beresford Passes Away Last Thursday

Miss Jeanette Sarah Bedard of Beresford passed away last Thursday in an institution for invalids at Redfield, S.D.

Her remains were brought to Beresford and funeral services were held from the home Wednesday afternoon and at the Methodist church in Hawarden. Rev. S. H. Shurtleff of the Methodist church of Beresford was in charge of the services there, and Rev. Shurtleff and Rev. Robert F. Chapler officiated at the services here. A high school girls' quartet sang. Interment was in Grace Hill cemetery.

Jeanette Sarah Bedard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bedard, was born in Hawarden July 14, 1920, and so was past 21 years of age at the time of her death. She moved to Beresford with her parents a number of years ago. She had been an invalid since she was a small child and four years ago she was taken to the institution at Redfield, S.D. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers, Fred, who is in the United States Army, and Eldon at home, and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Ludwig of Everly, Iowa.
