Orange City - Dena Van Leeuwen, 88, Sioux Center, formerly of Orange City, died Tuesday, Nov. 24 at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Rock Valley.

Services will be today (Saturday, Nov. 28) at First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City, with the Rev. Timothy Ouwinga officiating.

Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center, under the direction of Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Dena Van Leeuwen, daughter of Albert & Maggie (Ten Kley) Boeyink, was born June 25, 1910, in rural Sioux Center. She was raised in Sioux Center and continued to live there as an adult. She was employed as a housekeeper for various people. She married Cornie Van Leeuwen on March 15, 1960. They made their home in Orange City until June of this year, when they moved to the New Homestead in Sioux Center.

She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include her husband and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
