Mrs. Henry Langstraat Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Wilhelmina Langstraat, 43, died at her home Thursday afternoon following a heart attack. Mrs. Langstraat, nee Wilhelmina Cleveringa was born in the same home when she died, near Carmel on Jan 8, 1897.

A Daughter of Fred nd Nellie Cleveringa. On June 4, 1917 near Rock Valley she was married to Mr. Henry Langstraat and to this union seven children were born.

Surviving are the widower and following children. Tracy, Fred, Clarence, Nelvina, Edna Johanna, Henrietta and William all at home. She also leaves three brothers, John, Fred and William all of Sioux Center.

Funeral services were held Monday Mar 21, 1940 at 1:00 p.m. from the residence and at 1:30 p.m. From the Carmel Reformed church. The Rev. Mrs. Wm. Roitschaefer officiated, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Gerrit Bosch. Bearers were Willared Te Grotenhuis, Gerrit, Wm. and Gradus Feekes, Jake Van Voorst Jr. and Wm. Sandbulte. Burial was in the Carmel cemetery.
