Very Sad Accident
Little Anna Hoogeboom Falls into Cistern and drowns.
A very sad accident occurred about two o’clock Wednesday afternoon when the three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hoogeboom of Ireton fell into the cistern and was drowned. They were cleaning the cistern, when Mr. Hoogeboom was called to town, and he left the cistern temporarily covered with loose boards. Little Anna in some way displaced these boards and she fell head foremost into a foot or more of water. Life was extinct when the body was recovered.
