Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church of Hull
at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, for Mrs. Wm. Claerbout, 75, who passed away May 21 at Sioux Center hospital. Sen-ices were held at the family home immediately preceding church services. Rev. N. Rozcboom officiated. Her grandsons served as pallbearers. The Van Etten Funeral Home was in charge of Arrangements.

Mrs. Claerbout, nee Jennie Jansma, was born at Orange city Dec 26, 1881. she was a graduate of Northwestern academy of Orange City and taught in rural schools four years. She was untied in marriage to Wm. Claerbout Dec 23, 1902.

Surviving besides her husband are her five daughters, Mrs. John Stientjes and Mrs. Wm. Kuiper of Hull, Mrs. Jake DeLeeuw of Boyden, Mrs. Louis Van Schepen of Doon and Mrs. John Boer of Orange city; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
