Sheldon - Funeral services for Antionette (Mrs. Fred, Sr.) Verschoor, 81, of Sheldon, were held April 14 at 10 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheldon. Father Thomas Donahoe officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Hospers, Mrs. Verschoor passed away April 12 at the Sheldon Hospital.

The former Antionette Robinet was born January 1, 1900, in Hospers. She married Fred Verschoor, Sr., on May 19, 1920 in Hospers.

Survivors include her husband, three sons, Joe of Sheldon; John of Battle Creek, IA; Fred, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz; four daughters, Agnes (Mrs. Don) Smith of Sacramento, CA; Mrs. Roselia Conner of Central Point, OR; Annette (Mrs. Don) Hastery of Minnetonka, MN; Charlotte (Mrs. Robert) Hohnkomp of Ogden, IA; one brother, Emil Kellen of Lismore, Minn; one sister, Mrs. Clara Heitzman of Minneapolis, MN; 31 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
