A little boy was born into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Welchert last week Thursday and was taken from them by death a week later. Mr. and Mrs. Welchert wish to thank those who rendered kind assistance through the sad and trying ordeal.
(This was a child of Henry 32, and Anna Welchert 29, as recorded in the the 1900 census of Nassau Tsp. Sioux County. They had a son Hubert age 4 at the time and living with them was Tony Welchert age 68, possibly Henry's father.)
