G. Van't Hoff died Saturday morning at" his home in the east part of the city at the age of 74 years. He had been a resident of Sioux county for about twenty years, the most of this time he lived on a farm. He died from cancer from which he has been a great sufferer: He leaves his wife, two daughters and two sons, all grown, to mourn his loss. The funeral was held from the First Reformed church Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. Kolyn.
(This was Gerrit Vant Hof born abt 1826 Netherlands married to Artie Van Wyk 1866-1936. Children Louis, Henry and Ella.).
