Maurice Review: The sad news was received in the city by relatives Thursday morning of the death at her home near North Yakima, Wash., on Wednesday, January 23, 1901, of Miss Gertie Mieras, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marinus Mieras, who removed from this place to Washington. Review readers have heretofore .read of her illness, and will be pained to learn of ber untimely demise. The deceased was in her eighteenth year just budding into womanhood —and her death will cast a shadow of gloom over all those who had known her. The parents have the sincere sympathy of the hundreds of friends here.

Children Gertie 1883-1901, Ida 1888-1975, Marene 1891-1966, Jennie 1893-1979, Edward 1898 and Oscar 1899.)
