Miss Colton of Sheldon who has been overseeing the Pitts, home for some weeks was called home Sunday by a telegram that her brother-in-law B. P. Hollenbeck had died suddenly at Mauitou Colorado. Mr.. Hollenbeck was one of the four Hollenbeck brothers who settled in Sioux county in 1877 and had the honor of selecting the name for Lynn township where their farms are located. He died last Friday of paralysis at the home of his sister, Mrs. William Smiley, where he and his wife had gone for rest and recreation. He lived for many years in Lynn township but for sometime had been living in Sheldon. He was born at Highgate Vermont, April 8 1836 and was therefore sixty-five years of age Tho funeral was held at the home of his children, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Aborn in Sheldon Monday at four
o'clock, Rev Bray officiating.

Children were - Minerva D. Mrs. Robert Aborn 1861-1942, Frederick Drury Hollenbeck 1863-1930, and Frank Bradbury Hollenbeck 1868. )
