Margaret (Margarite) , the little four year old daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. F. W. Michel, died Saturday evening at 9:30 after a three weeks illness with lung fever. Margaret was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Michel and her death was a terrible blow to them, and the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community goes out to them in their sad bereavement. The little one was conscious to the last, and a short time before she passed away she asked for her ball, tossed it up and played with it for several minutes. Services were held at the home Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Winter, and the body was taken to Fairbault, Minn., on the midnight train from Alton Sunday night, the former home of the parents; The Herald desires to join the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Michel in extending most sincere, sympathy.
