Obituary of Ivan James Visser, 15
MIDDLEBURG--Special--Mr. and Mrs. Bert Visser living one half mile east and one and one-half miles north of Middleburg, mourn the loss of their 15 year old son, Ivan James, who died Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m. at the DeBey hospital.
Ivan had been ill for over a year, and all that loving hands could do for him was done unto him. He was born Dec. 25, 1927 and passed away Dec. 16, 1942. Besides his parents he leaves to mourn three younger brothers, John Arthur, Marvin Dean and Edwin Wayne. We deeply sympathize with the bereaved family. May the vacancy be filled with God's presence and may they find comfort from above where alone comfort is found.
Funeral services were held in the Reformed Church with Rev. Zylstra from Middleburg and Rev. F. Schuurman of Orange City officiating. Interment was made in the Middleburg cemetery.
