Mr. John B. Hyink of Newkirk died early Monday morning, from a bowel ailment, at the age of 70 years. Deceased has lived to Sioux county for about 17 years; has been twice married and has sixteen children living. He was born in Holland and came to America when 14 yean old. He was a man much respected by all who knew him; a devoted Christian and has been an elder in the Dutch Reformed church for 16 years. In his death the cause to which religion loses one of its most faithful and earnest workers. The funeral will be held from the Dutch Reformed church at Newkirk at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon. The HERALD desires to join the friends of the deceased in extending sympathy to the bereaved widow and children.
