Orange City - Mr. & Mrs. Fred Brower from Pocahontas, Mrs. Fred Brower and daughter Frieda and Mrs. Esther McGloghlon attended the funeral Thursday afternoon of Mrs. Hannah Oberg, 89, of Orange City at Big Springs, SD, where services were held at the Baptist Church. Mrs. Oberg died at the Grossmann hospital, Monday, Dec. 26. She was born in Sweden, Oct. 17, 1866 and came to America and settled in South Dakota with her parents at the age of two. She married David Oberg in May, 1895, and lived on a farm near Big Springs, later retiring to Alcester, SD. Mr. & Mrs. Oberg came to Orange City in 1946 to make their home with Mr. & Mrs. Fred Brower. Mr. Oberg preceded in death in 1948.
