Funeral services for John Marion Brouwer were held at the First Reformed Church on Wednesday afternoon. Burial was made in Valley View Cemetery in the family plot.

He was born at Rock Valley, August 27, 1900.

He is a son of Mrs. W. F. Brouwer by whom he is survived. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Vira Van Steenwyk of Sheldon; Mrs. H. J. (Gertrude) Kosters, Rock Valley; Mrs. F. W. (Zina) Mailand, Anaheim, Calif; four brothers, Fred Brouwer of Inwood; Jake Brouwer of Sioux City; Nick and James of Rock Valley.

Preceding him in death were his father, two brothers and a sister.

Pall bearers were Henry Bauman, Delko Steck, Frank DeBoer, Ted Hamann, Bernard Beumer and Wayne Schmidt.
