Old Mrs. Rens living east of town, buried here last week; she had passed by several years the allotted old age of three score years and ten.
(This was found to be Jannetje DeZwaan born 21 May 1826 Doornspijk, Geld Neth died 20 May 1901 Sioux Center IA She was married to Tijmen Rens Mar 18, 1853 in the Netherlands, she had the children listed – Reijer Rens 1855-1929, Gijsbertje 1862-1875, John 1862-1934, Jacob 1863-1883, and Lammert 1863-1948.)
