MUYSKENS, ROGGEN, SCHAAP

At nine-thirty Monday morning occurred the death of Mrs. John Muyskens at her home two and a half
miles northeast of town. Mrs. Muyskens had been sick for several months with dropsy and heart disease and her death had been expected for weeks. Deceased was about fifty-one years old and leaves a husband and twelve children to mourn her. Two boys and two girls are at home. The others are Gerrit, Dick, Cornelius, Pete and Arie and Mesdames A, Menning, John Korver and Henry Klein Bekman. Mrs.Muyskens was a Miss Roggen and was born in Holland where, she still has one sister.
Her mother died near Middleburg about a year ago. She has one brother A. Roggen at the above
town. The deceased was a patient Christian who bore her suffering meekly. She was much loved by all who knew her. The husband and children who have lost a loving wife and mother have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.

Neth. died Sep 11, 1921 at Alton IA, Tettje Roggen was born 28 Jul 1850 Terschelling died May 28, 1901 Alton IA, she was married 14 March 1867 Terschelling, her parents were Gerrit Ariensz roggen and Maartje Cornelis Schaap. The twelve children were - Gerrit, Dirk, Japke, cornelis, Peter, Arien, Trytie, Anna, Martje, Jan, Marie, John and
William.)
