Born: January 11, 1916: Orange City. Iowa
Passed Away: April 9, 2004: Orange City. Iowa
Age: 88 years. 2 months, 28 days
Funeral Service: April 12. 2004: , First Reformed Church: Orange City. Iowa
Interment: West Lawn Cemetery: Orange City. Iowa
Roevina was the daughter of Jacob and Wilheimina Duistermars) Cleveringa. She was raised on a farm between Orange City and Sioux Center. On June 29, 1937, she married Dick Van Klompenburg at Orange City. They farmed south of Alton. In August of 1980. they moved into Orange City. She became a resident of the Orange City Municipal Hospital Long Term Care Facility on February 24 of this year.
Mrs. Van Klompenburg was a member of the First Reformed Church. She enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her husband: four children and their spouses. Delmar and Clarine Van Klompenburg of Maurice: Rosalyn and Ronald Wenstrand of Wakefield, Nebraska: Harvey
and Cheryl Van Klompenburg of Orange City: and Richard and Rhonda Van Klompenburg of Alton: two sons-in-law. Henry Pennings of Sheldon; and Dennis Cordle of Iowa City:
21 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters; Marlene Pennings and Delores Cordle: a grandson. Eugene Wenstrand: a great-grandson. Brennan Evenson: two brothers. Clarence and Anthony Cleveringa: and two sisters. Margaret Horstman and Alice Van Roekel.
