Mrs. Sylvester Haag, 68, Hospers, Iowa, died Monday at the Sheldon hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Hospers. with the Rev. Eugene Sceperly officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home Sioux Center.

Mrs. Haag, the former Mary Orban, was born Dec. 15, 1908 in Le Mars. She was married Jan. 12, 1927 in Le Mars. Mr. Haag died Dec. 14, 1960 in Hospers. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Magnus (Agnes) Pohlen of Porter, Minn., Mrs. Ray (Rosemary) Hoffman of Canby, Minn., and Mrs. Ray (Antoinette) Meulebroeck of Taunton. Minn., Mrs. Clifford (Dolores) Schlichte of Granville and Mrs. Elizabeth Foreman of Le Mars; four sons, Kenneth and Paul, both of Hospers, Bernard of Oxford, Neb., and Charles of Sheldon; 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
