Mrs. Edith Darville, 77, of LeMars, mother of Mrs. Gerben Keizer of Hawarden, died Monday in a Sioux City hospital.

Last week Mrs. Darville broke her right arm and right hip when she fell on an icy spot. She was taken to a LeMars hospital and later to Sioux City. Monday morning, as they were about to set the hip bone, Mrs. Darville lapsed into a coma as the anasthetic was to be administered. She did not revive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:45 at the Methodist church in LeMars Friday afternoon.

Survivors are four children, Leslie of Suisun, Calif.; Mrs. Keizer of Hawarden; Mrs. Ernest Weber of LeMars and Harold of Sioux City; 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
