The youngest child of Henry Smith died last Sunday afternoon.
(The 1900 census lists the family of Henry Smith of Floyd Tsp. Sioux county IA. He was born Jun 1860 Neth. Came to USA in 1885. Married Sierdina Romberg 14 Aug 1886 at Orange City IA. He was the son of Hendrik Antonie Smith and Anna Stikker, she was the daughter of Roelof Romberg and Hendrikje Koster. Children in the family in 1900 were Anna, Rudolph, John, Teunis, Hattie and Hendrik. The name of the deceased child could not be exactly determined, however found a Sioux County death record for Berend Smith died May 6, 1900 age 1 yr 6 months. )
