10-Month-Old Infant
Dies of Head Injuries
Hull—Special: Ruth Elaine, 10 month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G . Ver Meer who fell and injured her head, was taken to Rochester the evening of May 7th, 1945 and died in the Rochester hospital early Wednesday morning.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the home and First Reformed Church, conducted by Rev. Vant Kerkhof.
Pall bearers were cousins of Ruth Elaine, Vernon Van Ommeren, Willis Kooiker, Jacob Kooiker and James Intveld. She leaves to mourn her early departure. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Ver Meer, one sister Gertrude and two brothers, Jimmy and Kenneth.
