Mrs. Howard Janvrin, 66, of Spirit Lake, formerly of Hawarden was dead on arrival June 20 at a Spirit Lake hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home.

Services were at 10:30 a.m., June 23, at the Tenold Funeral Chapel at Spirit Lake with the Rev. Robert Phillips of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Bancroft Cemetery at Bancroft.

Mrs. Janvrin, the former Geraldine Godfredson, was born October 27, 1909 in Bancroft and was married September 28, 1927 in Fairmont, Minn.

The couple had lived in Hawarden 39 years before moving to Spirit Lake in May.

Survivors include the widower; four daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Daugherty of West Point, Neb.; Mrs. Roger (Delores) Schuff of LeMars; Mrs. Jerry (Wanda) McManaman of Lincoln and Mrs. Roger (Lavonne) Tesdahl of Eagle Grove; a son, Kenneth of Panora; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers and a sister.
