Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Helen Sellgren of Detroit, Mich. She passed away in a hospital after a lengthy illness.

Memorial services were held at a chapel in Detroit.

Helen Wood was the daughter of the late Mrs. Nellie Wood. She graduated from Hawarden High School with the class of 1926.

She is survived by one son James, from Birmingham, Mich., one daughter, Mrs. Garvey Jack of Muscatine, IA, four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Alice Gilman of Hudson, SD.

To comply with her wishes, her body was donated to the University of Michigan at Ann Harbor to be used for research.
