Hawarden Independent, February 18, 1937

Mrs. W. J. Satterlee left Monday evening for Fairbault, Minn., where she was called by the death of her brother, Geo. Davis, who was instantly killed in an auto accident Monday afternoon. Mr. Satterlee, who has been visiting for the last few weeks with relatives in Texas, returned to Sioux City Wednesday and went on from there to attend the funeral held Thursday at Rochester, Minn. Marcus cor. in LeMars Sentinel.

Mr. & Mrs. Satterlee are well known here. W. J. is the son of Mr. & Mrs. L. D. Satterlee, and was born and reared in Ireton. They visit here frequently with his parents.
