Funeral services for Albert Lyzen, 87, Orange City, were held Saturday at the Community Building in Orange City. Burial was in Nassau Township Cemetery near Alton, Iowa.

Mr. Lyzen was born May 18, 1877, in The Netherlands, and came to the United States with his parents at the age of 5. He married Miss Alice Van Engen, March 1, 1902.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Dena Lyzen of Orange City, Mrs. Onen Steines of Alton, and Mrs. Leland Goodlaxon of Creston, Iowa; two sons, Gerrit of Orange City and D. Andrew of LeMars, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
